A Successful Re-Entry Starts On DAY ONE

Appropriate for all audiences, the DAY ONE with Andre Norman™ podcast series illustrates how the first days, weeks, and months of incarceration can be instrumental to a successful re-entry. It shares the individual stories of formerly incarcerated individuals, how they made the best of their time behind the walls, and how they set themselves up for a changed life post-incarceration.

Featuring one guest per episode, this podcast series is hosted by Andre Norman, “The Ambassador of Hope,” who turned his life around from prison gang leader to international speaker and Harvard fellow. Each episode is told through the lens of the incarcerated and focuses on formerly incarcerated individuals who have found purpose, redefined themselves, and embraced a successful re-entry. Topics include how to best sustain yourself physically and mentally in such a challenging environment, making the most of educational opportunities while still incarcerated, and staying away from bad influences. One episode includes the heart-wrenching perspective of the mother of an incarcerated individual and how his sentencing changed her life forever.

Series premiers Thursday, December 1, 2022. New episodes are released every Thursday through February 16, 2023 – with 12 episodes total.
